IBM Feature Code

An IBM feature code identifies a specific hardware or licensed feature inside an IBM Power, AS400, iSeries, or related IBM system configuration.

IBM feature codes describe what is actually installed, activated, or supported in an IBM hardware configuration. Feature codes may identify processors, memory, storage, adapters, tape devices, power supplies, rack components, software activations, or other configuration items. For IBM Power and AS400 buyers, feature code review helps prevent quote mistakes, incompatible parts, missing capacity, and maintenance surprises.
