IBM i Power 6, 8204 (#5096) PCI-X Exp Tower (no disk)</p><p>#5096 is an I/O expansion tower that has 14 PCI slots. It does not support disk units and does not support any internal removable media devices. A #5088 can not be mounted on a #5096.</p><p>One bus adapter to provide the RIO-2 interface to the system is required with each #5096.</p><p>One or two cables must be ordered to attach to the RIO-2 ports. Each #5096 comes with redundant, hot-swap, power supplies. To enable further #5096 redundancy, dual line cord capability for the #5096 is provided by feature #5115. An additional #5096 line cord must be ordered when installing a #5115.
