(#2892) PCI Integrated xSeries Server<p>(Only available as REFURBISHED as of January 1, 2004)<p>#2792/#2892/#9792 PCI Integrated xSeries servers contain a 1.6GHz processor and four memory<p>slots. #2792 is used on iSeries Models 825, 870, and 890. #2892 is used on Models 800 and 810.<p>#9792 is a base feature used on Models 825, 870, and 890, when ordered with the Enterprise Options<p>6/6/2007 http://www-306.ibm.com/common/ssi/OIX.wss?DocURL=http://d03xhttpcl001g.boulder.ib...<p>Package.<p>Each server memory slot can contain one of the following features for a total main storage from<p>1024MB to 4096MB (features #0446 and #0447 are used only with feature #2892.)<p> #0426/#0446 - 512MB Server Memory (#0426 Only available as REFURBISHED as of June 1, 2006)<p> #0427/#0447 - 1GB Server Memory (#0427 Only available as REFURBISHED as of June 1, 2006)<p> #9726 - 512MB Server Memory (two included with #9792)<p>At least two server memory features are required with each #2782/#2892/#9792. Server memory<p>features must be installed in identical capacity pairs. On model upgrades or MES orders, a<p>#2782/#2892 may be ordered without memory features if supported memory features already exist on<p>the installed system.<p>#2792/#2892/#9792 include one embedded 100/10Mbps Ethernet LAN adapter. Additional LAN<p>IOAs may be ordered from the following:<p> #2744 PCI 100/16/4Mbps Token-Ring IOA<p> #5700 PCI 1Gbps Ethernet IOA<p> #5701 PCI 1Gbps Ethernet UTP IOA<p>When a LAN feature is used with #2792/#2892/#9792, the following specify codes must be ordered:<p> When using #2744, one #0223, 100/16/4Mbps Token-Ring specify, is required for each #2744.<p> When using #5700/#5701, one #0226 (1Gbps Ethernet Specify) is required for each #5700/#5701.<p>Up to three IOA LAN features can be supported by a #2792/#2892/#9792, depending on the system<p>unit/tower position into which the #2792/#2892/#9792 is placed.<p>Native AS/400 functions are NOT supported. #2792/#2892/#9792 do not support external host LAN.<p>The #2792 is supported in the system unit of Models 825, 870, and 890, and in HSL attached I/O<p>tower/units.<p>The #2792 does not require an IOP, but placement is limited to specific slots within the various<p>system units and expansion towers.<p>The #2892 is supported in the system unit and in all towers when those towers are attached to Models<p>800 and 810.<p>#9792 is a base feature included in the system unit of Models 825, 870, and 890 when the systems are<p>ordered with the Enterprise Options Package.<p>The #2792/#2892/#9792 ships with a standard keyboard/mouse splitter cable and can support either<p>standard or USB 1.1 keyboard and mouse.<p>#2792/#2892/#9792 support only Windows 2000 server and Windows.NET server operating systems.<p>The following applies:<p> #0325 (IPCS Extension Cable for Windows) is the default (but may be removed)<p> A minimum of 1GB Server memory is required<p> #1700 (IPCS Keyboard/Mouse for Windows) is the default (where offered)<p> Display must be connected to the integrated server to support Windows<p>Page 82 of 88 US - IBM iSeries Models 800, 810, 825, 870, and 890<p>Supported on the following systems: 270, 520, 550, 570, 595, 800, 810
